Welcome to Pepperoni Express.com, the best website in the world!

Wow, what a challenge this project was. As a final project in Web Design before the end of the semester, we had to recreate the website for a local business. Not only am I extremely proud of what I have managed to produce after many hours of work, I plan on sharing my website with the owner of the business. The original website for this local pizza place was, to put it simple, not very pretty. I was determined to recreate it to the best of my ability to display everything I have learned this year. Using Google Sites, I chose the Ember theme to start out with the gray, orange, and beige color scheme. In my opinion, this fit the local pizza restaurant perfectly. To me, the website is very special and has a lot of character to it, just like this restaurant. The Home page and Contacts and Directions page were easy to make considering the fact that they do not have a lot of information on them. When it comes to the Menu page, that was a challenge all on its own. For such a small pizza restaurant, they have so many food choices that it is almost overwhelming. Figuring out a format for the Menu page that I was happy was very frustrating. I ended up deciding on a three column layout with space at the bottom for more detailed meals. When I look at this website, I cannot believe its mine. For me, this is a goal reached in my web design skills. I could not be happier with the product and I hope my peers share my appreciation.
